The proprietors hold a strong and proven commitment to responsible stewardship of our surroundings and the requirement of every individual to treat our planet with respect and care.
The foundation of our sustainable commitment was laid in 1997 when Orongo Bay Homestead was certified as an organic property, formalising decades of prior organic practice. Today we are proud to continue organic practices on our 15 acre property.
For ultimate comfort our pillows are soft duck-down and feather, our generous beds are orthopaedic quality, and duvets are purely natural wool and cotton.
All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with robes, fluffy towels, hair-dryers, and native plant skincare creams. All rooms have a fridge, flat screen DVD/CD systems, complimentary fruit bowl on arrival.
Massage is available on request, and our own natural spring water is free for guests. Rooms have access to an extensive CD and DVD library.
